British Industrial Inspection Services LLC (BIIS) is an independent third-party inspection, testing, and certification company operating in the United Arab Emirates, providing technically sound and regulation-compliant services to the oil & gas, construction, industrial facilities, marine, ports, logistics, and heavy-equipment sectors.
BIIS is headquartered in Abu Dhabi and has been established since 2013 under a valid UAE economic license. In addition, BIIS operates a fully licensed Dubai branch under the name British Industrial Inspection Services LLC – Dubai Branch, holding a Professional License issued by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET).
The Dubai branch is legally registered as a branch of a company registered in another emirate and is authorized to provide Occupational Safety Consultancy services, with the license valid until 15 January 2027. This licensing structure enables BIIS to legally operate across Dubai and the Northern Emirates, in addition to Abu Dhabi, without jurisdictional limitations.

BIIS specializes in lifting equipment inspection and certification, load testing, wire rope examination, industrial inspection engineering services, and safety-related consultancy, in accordance with UAE statutory regulations, ADNOC HSE-OS-ST-19 / CP-19 requirements, and applicable international standards.
All inspection and consultancy services are delivered by qualified and experienced engineers using calibrated and traceable equipment, with reports and certificates structured to meet client audits, regulatory review, and operational safety requirements.
